About KRA
KRA is a bespoke art advisory founded by KAmila Rangoonwala Ahmed Who has over a decade of experience in the international art world, including close work with Art Dubai and Christie’s UK.
Based in the UAE with operations extending to the UAE, UK and USA, KRA offers a refined perspective shaped by both global market knowledge and deep regional expertise. Specialising in South Asian modern and contemporary art, KRA’s curatorial direction is informed by a personal heritage and long-standing involvement in managing a private family foundation collection. This collection has supported prominent cultural institutions and initiatives including the V&A, Gasworks, and the Venice Biennale.
KRA Art Advisory developed quite organically from this ecosystem and access. Over the past few years, I’ve worked closely with private collectors, family offices, foundations, and hospitality groups, advising on acquisitions across both emerging and established artists. My work often sits at the intersection of art and interiors, which has resonated particularly with a younger generation of collectors who approach collecting in a more integrated and personal way.
